Did I miss it? or is no one wanting to believe the incredeble numbers that muzzy has out of his new 10r.

172.5 hp and 86 tq?

OMG.

I shoulda waited to get either a new 10 or r1 instead of my OLD 2003 R1. heh.

well I sis save a few dollars, and I think it looks better than either one, but did I say 172.5 hp and 86 tq?

Rob Muzzy's company makes some outstanding motorcycle parts, as I honestly have never heard of anyone complaning about their systems.

I'll probably get flamed now...:(
You shouldn't. I have a Muzzy 5 lb full Ti system on my 00 track bike. Best pipe for that bike ever.

BD hangs out in the right places and has seen this, so may be a bit of a let down if you were expecting much more from em.

So you know, even Muzzy was surprised by this and wants to run it again, on a regular production bike.

The gains are pretty consistent with other (good) slip-ons on that bike, the difference being they used a PC3 to get those numbers dialed in and get that couple extra. Akra got about 5, but Jardine only got 2 without any remap.

So the question remains, will the regular production bikes do this well...........sounds like the answer that is coming really soon.

Wow, that is awesome!! One thing though, in the stock vs. slip-on the stock zx-10 is putting out 166 HP. That is higher than any dyno #s that I have seen for the zx-10.

Still awesome though:bow
Those bastards must have one of those "Ringer" 10R's I keeps hearin about. :crash

This has to be a production model unless they refused to return the bike back to Kawasaki. ALL of the preproduction models were recalled for the transmission problem and replaced later with production units. I'd wadger there is a neato vin # and everything on it.

Plus race fuel, along with the PC3. Still cheap horsepower though.

My ZX10R will be broken-in on the dyno the using the same method employed on my R1's; I will then compare each machine on the same dyno/same day for baseline reference (purely out of curiosity); personally tuner numbers have little influence on me, alas I will post my results for all to see. (Now of course if my ZX10R would arrive that is) :)

If the ZX10R produces a higher number than my R1’s, will I have any regrets racing production on an 04’ R1 this year, rather than waiting?; not at all, the over all package Yamaha produced this year is fantastic in my opinion. Not to mention that Kawasaki dropped the ball for privateers this year by delaying production; leaving little or no time for season opener preparation.

Thanks!

STUPENDOUS!!,, I dont see why muzzys # seems high, SR recorded it at 164HP, right? Well, if it can get even 6 ponies out of the slip-on according to muzzys pipe and SR's own # that would be 170HP,,, still ludicrous for a street bike by yester-years estimation. Imagine all of us in public getting to OWN a bike with that much Bawz!! And it recorded at least 80ftlb's each time! AND has a nice seamless powercurve??? Kawi seems to have hit a grandslam for 2004. Yamaha won the beauty pageant and Kawasaki won the best motor award, oh and Honda wins a subscription to Jenny Craig,,LOL Hmm, my choice for new 04 bike to buy is dwindling more and more each day. But never fear, I still LOVE my 99 R1.

Not a hater by any standards, the power is awesome. I am wondering what the " std " correction factor that Muzzys uses. I know they are in Oregon, and if I remember right, they are close to sea level.. Awesome numbers any way you look at it though !!
