Nick, I'm actually happy for you... Just reading this but running some numbers in my head, that knick on the swingarm and just doing some math. You just basically got a new bike for about half price... :thumbup

Nick in your pics is the stock barend scuffed? I have a replacement for ya if it is. :fact :thumbup
Barend somehow didn't get scuffed. At least I don't remember seeing anything on there when I checked it out.

Damn Nick!!!!!! Sorry to hear man, but glad you are getting some upgrades out of it

Is that a "D211GP" I see in the pics....................you cant hide those from me. haha. Find me a set or a 190/55 bro, I need one
I see you have an eye for quality. I get them locally from my hookup..Most are AMA practice tires. ;)

Swingarm on the fiche is like $750ish? Plus labor... The insurance has accepted liability, but now I have to wait for a different adjuster(that handles motorcycles) to call me back.. ughhhhhh

I'm telling you, once the swingarm gets jacked the replacement cost will drive a LONG way towards totaling a bike.

a lot more but it's the labor that usually totals the bike... Pump up the replacement costs as much as you can...

I'd even go for a GMD frame check. Any lateral impact tends to tweak the alignment and twist the headstock on the frame... :fact

My bike isn't a show bike. I can deal with the little scratch on the swingarm, and use that money for something else.

My bike's nickname is 'skratch'

I wish people would pay attention and at least attempt to look in the direction in which their vehicle is traveling! Glad people were there and he couldn't just drive off like many people would try to. It makes me sad that so many people would attempt to be ignorant and just leave after thumping another vehicle, especially a bike. Hope that you get a little extra $$$ for some parts out of this.

I had my old 99 tipped over in the same way and then the beotch tried to take of. Saw it happening too while I was eating lunch with a friend. As she tried to drive away. I told her that I was gonna call the cops as a hit and run if she didn't give me her insurance info.
