wed july 25th bp/mcdonalds on the corner of 24 and western blvd. at 6:00pm going to hooters after everyone gets there!!! danq and i will be waiting!!

 

Damn... gotta clean the bike and take those bald a## tires off! Actually... since it's an odd day I may just ride the FZR (which needs to be cleaned even more than the R1, but it has better tires).

I should be good for that time. I've got appointments throughout the week and an appraisal on the house, but nothing that late in the day.

 

well danq and i cleaned our bikes before bike nite!!! the dude didnt make it due to a wreck he had but the turn out was small!! we need to get more people out so if ur close to jacksonville post we will meet up!!

Hey... I killed a cell phone and switched to a backup that doesn't have your number. So if you called, I missed it.

The rest of you folks in the area... start posting up. There are miles of road and many trackdays still left with open spots. And I might not be completely broke when I get done buying a house and a few other things.

Actually, I have been meaning to find out when VIR has openings. Been waiting on the Elviswarrior trackday to get scheduled and then go from there. Plus I might be going back to the Gap for a couple of days in September.

Where do you go? Maybe we can swing up that way one day. Greeneville Hooters have a bike nite?

 

Hey! I'm in Chapel Hill, just moved out from LA to go to UNC for grad school. I'm going to Asheville on Thursday to see a band I really like, then will try to hit the Dragon by Friday afternoon. I'm a little nervous, but it can't be that much more of a squid-fest than Malibu...right?

I've seen a few sportbikers around, and I wonder if there's a bike night in Durham, that would be cool.

I do hit the track, as often as possible. Did Barber on my way out here, it was HEAVEN!!! VIR is only 50 miles from Chapel Hill, so I'll be there soon.

Already dropped over a grand in insurance, still have the lawyer and other closing costs, the paint and epoxy for the garage, beer for the moving volunteers, couple of grand for a V-Max, few bucks for track day and a few other things is only going to leave me a couple bucks for a motard.

Man... maybe I'm not all that poor anymore

Oh well... make more... need more. Time to go TAD.

well turn out was great i would say around 30 bikes or so give or take! the dude and danq didnt make it :whtfu: guys!!!!

well shit yea man thats y i put this thread up but no one really wants to ride it seems except my and danq meet up sometimes! the dude calls but never makes it out yet! well will meet somewhere one weekend right now i been working on my bike more then i been riding the damn thing lol!!!

 

Whats up, if you all passing through Sanford, NC, give me a holla. We ride every weekend around town and sometimes raliegh, fayetteville or chapel hill. All depends on whats happening. We were talking about going past Jordan lake this weekend to Chapel Hill.

I finally hooked up wit some dudes,that hit the MT roads we have.Some of the guys are members here.We meet up and head up Route 66 and Highway 8 all the way up to VA. These roads are not for the noobs!!!!They meet up at the Blue Ridge parkway.These roads are listed on the motorcycle roads us site. 66 is called the baby dragon. Its one that I really like squrile spur. Some really nasty switch backs,and up hill hairpins.

 

We ridin sunday morning??? Let me know when and where mefistofeles. Any other guys....let one of us know if you want to ride Sunday.

Nice weather sunday NC and Tn mountains, we hit the road with some friends(George and Morris) for about 11-12 hours..:cryin, a lot of LHP patrol on Shady Valley so we take some back roads :rock we choose well,no tickets, no other problems..here some pics...:riding
