dont use a quickshifter, sell it!

just chop the throttle while shifting... man its so quick and cheap.

cool thing is, if you go WOT and clutchless shift with a passenger, she will just jerk backwards every shift you do... so she will end up off the seat

 

I have a ignitionmodule, hooked up to the powercommander as well as a quickshifter. I have mine set at 8000 rpm and a kill time of 45 ms. your kill time is too long. You should be able to shift smooth as butter and hardly notice a drop in rpm.:secret:

 

With a quick shifter the passenger will not go off the back. Just use the clutch between first and second..

there is no recommended adjustment since all quick shifts are the same except pull versus push.

I set mine to 8500 and 55ms. have no problems but i use it for racing.

 

I have mine set for 6,000 rpms 45ms kill time. No problems. Use clutch from 1-2..

 

Same here, but I have mine set at 4k. works fine for me at .45 Love every shift

 

FWIW,

I have mine set at 50ms and 5K rpm. Works fine.

Ok I have solved this by increasing the kill tim to 75ms, shifts very sweetly now. Should have mentioned that the quickshifter module is NOT a powercommander but a PK-power.
