That's a good run dude. I will like to see some pic of the bike and also the time slip from the 9.001 run. I like to compare slips for mines to see were i need improvement.

 

I will post somepics soon and by the way myself I an overweight driver so I am very proud of the bikes power I am 123Kgs at the moment.

Thanks, I just installed an MTC Lock up clutch on the bike with barnett plates it seemsto work very good at top end but it is very hard to launch the bike cause you have a full lock up at about 9000 - 9500 revs and the wheel spins, I tried to put the tyre press down to 10 psi and now the bike is hopping in the 60" so I will have to get into second gear very fast to try and smooth the bike's run and there is where I start the run fast, I hope I manage to get rid of the hopping and maybe do 1.50's in future

which tire u using? micket thompson or shinko? also how long is bike?

 

At the moment I am using a metzeler slick tyre to race with the bike is 6 inches taller and it has a wheeliebar fitted aswell.

its an open class i am racing in my bike has the smalest engine in the class I race with much bigger bikes also fitted with wheelie bars slicks etc.....

I once used a shinko tyre I think its the best I ever had.
I will try to fit an intercooler for the next event aswell I am looking for 8.7 seconds but i defenatly has to improve my 60 foot and by the way I am on a diet aswell maybe at least I will loose some 10Kgs aswell untill next event.

i got long long arm for ur bike. its 14 inches over. you wouldnt need the bars anymore with this one. ill give it to you...all u have to do is arrange shipping. send me a pm if ur interested. i sold my 00 and have had arm in my shop for 3 years now sitting. id rather see it put to use. ill find pics of it when i get home.

darling , if you start running yourself at marsa instead of hal far your 60ft would improve better than the bike tuning

The least I am doing is taking care of what peaple say I am doing my best and I will keep doing it, I hope I run in 8.7's or 8.6's but I am doing it for myself and only for myself so I can enjoy it to the full.
