Try forward air. The engine crated up should weigh in the ballpark of 200-250 pounds, and it should cost you around a buck fifty to ship, depending on where it is going. :hellobye

 

I shipped the motor out of an 01 a few years back and the cheapest and easiest way was Fed Ex. Without the carbs, but otherwise complete with tranny and all, I went and bought a plastic heavy duty bin from Walmart, then put in1/2 plywood on the bottom and sides, dropped the motor in and braced it with wood blocks and styrofoam peanuts. I think it weighed less than 100 pounds. Once I put the top on, I used the packing tape with the thread in it and sealed it up real good, drove over to the Fed Ex Building and shipped it out.
