turbo and nitrous are must haves.

 

I would suggest searching thru the forums since there are millions of posts on these topics just a thought.

1. A good quality slipon exhaust with Y pipe for better performance and cut down under the seat heat.
2. Power commander III
3. Steel braided lines. (big difference)
4. Short adjustable clutch and brake levers. (better feel)
5. Suspension set up to your weight by someone who knows what their doing.

These are a few of the ones that were important to me.

thanks for the tips, but does anyone know if healtech sells just the wire harness for the speedohealer, i have the main unit and suzuki harness but i just want to buy the yamaha harness.

i found the speedo healer harness. 35 bucks.

word on the street is the stock r1 exhaust can have baffles installesd in the mufflers. anybody does this before? i want a little bit louder sound, ill go after market in a couple months.

 

A&R baffles.... sound decent

 

get a -1/+2......it'll really awaken ur bike.

baffles are a quick fix that make your R1 sound great! they're only about $100. better than spending $800 on an after market exhaust

also dont forget about the HIDs!

 

im still getting used to this thing. i just installed a 12v plug for my radar, hid are next 5000k , exhaust eventually. if i do the baffles it would only be a temporary thing until i get slip ons.

I woke up a pro racer. But like I said earlier I have the 12v installed but it doesn't look like there's anywhere to put my escort. On my gixxer I velcroed it to the to of the guage cluster and it worked

yea pro racer mode, how do i activate it, does it have anything to do with the flux capacitator, im only getting .8 jigawatts is that enough?

 

You ride an r1 now. all that extra Bs will just fly off anyway!!!!
