I just picked up my bike last week and only rode it 100 miles before I received a SCU 93 code. Has anyone here had that problem? If so, what was done to resolve the issue?

the service manual states SCU 93 is:
Stepping motor: open or short circuit detected

That's the stepping motor for the fork or shock I'm thinking. Something like a loose connection maybe. Check the rubber boots on top the forks to see if u notice anything loose. And the shock rubber boot connector. I think you can just pull back the rubber to expose the connector. Try undoing the connector and look for issues...

Sounds like warrantee for sure if you cant find a loose connection.

Code 93 has to do with the stepping motor in the rear shock. My guess is your bike had the recall work done on the rear shock and the electronic connection didn't get put back on correctly. Take it back to the dealer or check the connection and then clear the code yourself and see if it comes back. Keep in mind the recall work might have been done before it ever got to the dealer.

(Talking to self) It was the servo motor connector on top of the left fork tube. I had to reseat it a half dozen times, checking the pins (they were fine), looking in the socket for debris, etc. Something was keeping the female plug from fully seating. The lock tab was broken off when I got the bike. Anybody know a source for just the connector? Guessing a whole wire harness is how Yamaha would do the repair.
