I know the suggested track psi for the stock rear is 25psi cold well went out to the track and tried that and I think it's a bit low well at least for me. I'm upper level group 2 not running race laps but not slow. Think I'll bump pressure up to 28-30 next time what do you think? Here's a pic of my rear after the first 20 min session. I say under inflated.

I did 2 sessions on those tires and changed them, Felt like I was on ice..Like I said before if you are anywhere above intermediate do not waste your time using these tires on the track..I run in the expert group and should have known they would not be anywhere near what I need....Dunlop GPA 212 for this person.. If you just go to the track to have fun or are still not running really fast laps they will work for you.. Run them 30psi Front and 28psi cold and you should not have any issues..

Did you check the pressure coming in from the track?

I don't see any tear here. 26-28 cold for track isn't a bad place to start. In general if you set the rear 26-28 cold and front close to 31 you should have good wear and a rise of 3-5 lbs max in hot pressure.

Here is a little guide for reading what your tires are doing.

its not tearing the rubber is just rolling up I think its just the way these tires wear. I was running 30 psi on both ends and they both looked like that. I started out running street pressures and I didn't see any appreciable difference when I changed pressures.

I don't see any appreciable tear. Can get on the gas soon coming out of corners. May have a slight pressure/rebound issue, but you're looking at +/- 1 to 2 psi and a click or two.

Best thing would be a good, non-oem type tire, or a DOT race tire and warmers.

I've bought a second RS10 for the back because I don't want to mix and match tires. When the front is gone I was going to try the SuperCorsa are they any better? Local people are loving the Dunlop Q3 but it has a different profile that puts me off a bit. I'm not going slicks because I still ride on the road some.

The Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V2 (that is Sport Production Version 2) which is the tire all the vendors are selling is A B S O L U T E L Y F A N T A S T I C :)

I run them on the street, mostly in the canyons at 32 front and 28 rear. They don't last long but they are really really good. After 50 miles on a regular 2015 R1 and 76 miles on my new R1M I can tell definitively tell you the Pirellis are better than the Bridgestone, although the B-stone is pretty good just not as good.

I notice the front end RS10 doesn't track as well or provide as much feedback as the Pirelli.

Q3s don't hold a candle to either the RS10 or DSC SPs.

You won't be disappointed.

I have always run Pirelli Supercorsa's on all of my bikes. They are the best of the best DOT Race tire. They wear very evenly and have phenomenal grip. I have been impressed by the new Bridgstones though. They do have a lot more stick than prior battleaxes. I HATED them before. It was like riding on a brick of ice even with warmers. They really stepped up with these RS10's but I do believe they wear faster and don't provide AS much grip as a Supercorsa. If you got the $$ Get the Supercorsa's.
