Rapidbike or ECU flash

I already read the other threads and none of them mentioned the Rapidbike race system so I figured I would ask before just assuming. I currently have an R1M that I bought new in November and so far Ive put all your gucci brand add ons. Akro exhaust and Link pipe, intake, Galespeed Levers and master cylinder, Gilles Rear sets and a power commander V but after the intake a felt like a really lost a lot because the bike isn't tuned. My local shop is pushing me towards the Rapid Bike Race system because like the other systems mentioned its a live tune but Im wondering if its best to save the $700 and send my ecu in and sell the Power commander off ( which i intend to do regardless). Any advice is appreciated.

it´s 2 different things mate.

A rapidbike and a powercommander(when you get all the extra modules) do almost the same things but none are gonna be able to remove the oem ECU restrictions. That can only be done through flash.

If you want autotune and got someone that can tune your bike with FTECU then your best best is to get the FTECU flash kit with the FTECU autotune and get it all done. No extra unneccesary piggy backs on your bike with that setup.

I currently have my bike flashed via FTECU and got a rapidbike unit but that is because I too wanted autotune and when I got everything FTECU had not come out yet with it´s autotune feature.

Works great. Smoothed out fueling via autotune(currently using a wideband kit with it). It improved much more after having it tuned on the dyno. Picked up 8-10hp.
I will be upgrading to the Racing unit next week so will be able to tune ignition now... looking forward to further tuning.
