Rotor Magnets all turned to Magnetic Sludge

I figured out why my battery wouldn't charge. After removing the Stator cover, I saw broken pieces of Magnets everywhere. All the magnets inside the Rotor are destroyed 100%. I pulled the oil pan and found magnets everywhere. Oil Filter was full of magnets. Magnet pieces on starter gear.

So, the dealer said I have to pull the engine and flush it 100% to get them all out. They said my Primary Drive Gear is damaged because of the magnets. They said I can just flush the engine and it will run fine but will have a knocking sound unless I replace the Crank Shaft.

I'm in need of advice from any of you who can give me the best way to skip removing the engine. I have removed the following:

Gas Tank, Tail, Full Exhaust, Oil Pan, Rotor/Stator, Starter gear, Clutch, Air Box.

I see on the bottom of the engine where it can be removed. Not sure if this will expose the crank so I can clean it out without removing the engine. I would have to remove the oil pan, a side panel ((Left side)(Timing Chain)).

Any advice would be awesome. Sure wish it wasn't MAGNETIC or I would flush it all out.

I don't understand how they can see the Primary Drive Gear and say its bad. I don't see and damage on the clutch basket gear or on the Rotor. So I'm confused how they can state it needs replaced.

They said my Transmission is fine. And wanted over $2,000++ to do all the work and replace the parts.

First off, let me clearify what the dealer said.

The Stator/Rotor/Clutch Basket/Clutch/Steels/Springs all junk. Primary Drive Gear is culprite of knocking noise. Crank Shaft replacement would eliminate the knocking but if its not replaced, the bike will still run just fine...but possibly with a knock. They requested that the engine be taken out and cleaned up.

I already bought a new Stator/Rotor/Complete Clutch. So that is all getting replaced. I'm going to remove the oil pump and have my buddy turn the crank as I inspect it for any damage. Full flush of the engine. Use some magnetic pens to remove the broken magnets. Install everything. Ride it 50-100 miles then flush the oil to make sure nothing comes out....then sell it. I was selling it anyways before this YAMAHA piece of trash broke.

So reality, The buyer will have a fixed bike and I will tell him what happened and what I did to resolve the problem. So :2bitchsla at ya.

flushing a motor with magnetic parts who knows where wont remove them all. neither will poking a magnetic pen around in some parts of it.
to get it all, you'll need to see it all.:fact
