Your bike is fantastic. I still reckon the blue side panels look much better. I think it makes the bike look like a really exotic stock bike and less (and i hope i do not offend.. i mean this is the nicest and friendliest possible way) like a DIY job.
What I would do is put the blue back on and strip off the graphics if thats what you want. Then with the black and silver it would just truly be a spectacle!
I have a blue as well. im planning a set of gold marchesini and try putting the gold against the blue. I saw it work incredibly well before on an MV.... i'm hoping for a similar effect.
