Plug wires ain't crossed? Gotta air leak? Valves are set to the correct clearance? Those are a few things I'd check.

 

thats what I was thinking ...wires crossed...air leak not going to cause flame out of the exhaust...to me it sounds as if spark is not firing in correct order.....dont think its fuel or air problem...its a no start at this point? just wants to start.....right? recheck ignition system at this point...

 

well i dug into it and i think i found the problem it deifianatly had valve clearance issues. the little spacers inside the cups that sit ontop of the valves wasn't seated properly. So far i have the cams put back in and timing reset and triple checked everything again lol. About to go back out to the shop and start putting the rest of it together and see if that was the only issue.

ok got done putting it all together after the valve clearance issues i explained that i found in my previous post. Turned the key and let it prime a few then hit the start button and my baby roared back to life after being a pile of parts for 6 months after my wreck. I'm so happy.. thanx for all the advice guys

 

one of the cams could be 180 degrees off. i have seen this before with a CBR.

yes it was a valve clearance issue. The spacers that sit on top of the valves, i think they are called valve pads that sit in between the valve springs and the lifter, were not seated properly. Well about 3/4 of them wasnt lol

 

What do you mean by" not seated properly"?? Did you have wrong clearances? intake ?? exhaust?? had to buy new ones?? or were they physically not seated correctly?
