I think the best support for this is the midrange gain from the graves EV exhausts that show the midrange increases greatly as back pressure increases. It’s something like 30hp in the midrange

 

I can almost guarantee that the midrange gains are nowhere near that. A much more realistic gain would be more like 6-8 bhp at best.

I'm running the EVR on both my R1 and my MT-10. Ecu was flashed by 2WDW.

 

Lots of variables, cam profiles, engine compression… but a rule of thumb: longer cans = more hp at the top
Short cans > mid range torque

 

ive been told my modded Comp Werkes pipe is making me lose power all over . It’s basically that exhaust , race filter and a reflash.

 

The backfiring will not be fixed with the activetune. I have it on my bike, with smog blocks, race filter, and a Graves slipon. She pops a lot on decel at pace, not so much on the street though. If you want to hear the pop, which is really not that loud...just jump to minute 3:18.

Full pipewerxs (UK based, provide systems for track to meet our strict noise regs while maintaining power)

Almost all produce 190bhp or there abouts at the too end, the longer pipewerx can makes and extra 8bhp in the mid range compared to the SC and Akra.

That's with a K&N race filter and Woolich flash.

I find the bike feels better with the Pipewerx, but I love the look of the SC1R.

Sadly selling due to lack of use since I started racing.

Bought myself a new 2022 60th Anniversary model at the end of june, also live in the UK. Looking to change the exhaust so would be interested in your opinions and if you possibly have something for sale.
Mainly road riding with the odd trackday.

Is it a full system or decat pipe and muffler? 250mm or 350mm can, titanium or carbon?

This one, it's titanium, link pipe and end can,
Probably been on the bike 3 times.

Unsure on a price tbh, I can't remember what I paid exactly but it wasn't cheap, may still have invoice from RRPS.

I love my bandit 12. The suspension is garbage though. Fun little flea market hayabusa....

Needs a 6th gear though...
