Slight exhaust movement normal or did I install wrong?

As of the moment I have full stock system exept for Termignoni slip ons. With the termi set up the actual canister is seperate from connecting pipe, they are held together with a spring set up. Unlike the stock system or some other aftermarket slip ons where the canister and connecting pipes are welded together.

Well on my bike with everything insalled and tightened I can still rotate the canisters a small amount, not much but they move and I havent gotten the chance to ride it yet but I can imagine under hard riding that the slip ons would move into whatever angle they feel like moving to.

Im wondering if this is normal with the 2 piece canister setup or if I did something wrong when installing which I cant see I did, seemed like a simple bolt on.

Heres a picture showing the type of setup Termi uses, where the connecting pipes are held together with 1 small spring on each instead of being welded together.

yep its normal with the springs, and they probably won't move when you actually ride, just when you physically move them............ the GYTRs muffler endcaps are welded to the linkpipe, but before I got the new muffler gaskets after I installed the Akrapovic Y pipe, I could move them, now they don't move at all, but you will be fine, the muffler strap where it meets the mounting point on the subframe prevents them from moving too far or too much, they have a little play, no biggie, they are not supposed to be 100% cemented into place because of stresses on the muffler and vibrations........mine don't move at all, but they are the welded design, but the springs are fine, as long as they have the proper tension
