If you're not racing I would recommend the cat elim slipon. Great power gains, sounds great, costs a good deal less and honestly it's closer to the power of a full exhaust then a slipon. The largest restriction in the exhaust is the cat.

 

Maybe a few track days with it but this bike is intended for street use.

 

If your pockets can afford a full system go for it. if not, Corey is correct the cat back will give you just as much as a full system (about 5hp less than a full system) and it does sounds great too. I have the graves cat elim, and love it, but I may be moving up to a full system shortly. it will shave off a couple of pounds. more of a want for me not a need.

 

I'm opting for a full leo vince system, almost half the price of the Graves....although I would have loved the graves one!

But I have a 2005 ZX10 I'm trying to sell to fund the exhaust and ecu flash so not sure when I'm having the cashflow.

 

there are a couple of places for about 200 more you can get a full graves system. worst case is get a use cat back from here on the forum, depending on when you are looking to buy.

 

The thing is converting $ to my curency is quite a bit....pay 8rand for 1$....so it makes quite a difference on the total final price.

 

do you guys still have your exup valves in place with those systems? like ypipes, slipons, pcv/3, etc?

 

I just put on my graves full system a few days ago, and of course I had to remove the servo motor and install 12'oclock servo eliminator from Motomummy. That is a shout out to Cory, and staff thanks.

I already had a custom map for my slipon. But, honestly with the map and the full system the bikes power delivery is like night and day, I could feel the gains through the revs right away. So to say the least, I'm happy with the deal I got for the full system second hand but clean. There was a guy here on the forum selling a full graves system for 800 that was a steal. if you find one like that go for it....
