The guy who stole my bike killed himself on it!

I was sitting in my cube today when I got a call from the detective that was working the case for my stolen motorcycle. Apparently the guy who stole it was running from the police, ran off the road, and bit it. The thief was dead on the spot. It must have been very bad, because it took a few days to identify him.

Thank god my claim is already settled. I don't know if I would want the bike back after someone died on it. I know the guy had it coming to him, but I really feel bad about it. As much as I hate bike thiefs, no 11k bike is more important than a human life. At least he won't be stealing bikes anymore. Karma can really be a bummer.

Part of me feels bad for the guy........however he'd still be alive if he wasn't a sack of shiot.

Yes, it really sucks that it turned out that way... But there is nothing that could've been done! It was his own choice to run from the po-po's and unfortunatly that meant his death! Really sucks, and I would most definately not want to have the bike or ride it after someone died on it! Sucks man.......

There are two lessons to learn from this unfortunate incident.
1. Don't steal other peoples shit.
2. Don't run from cops.

i have had my bike stolen. personally, i hope the thieve doesn't die that quickly. i wish him to get into an accident that will leave him handicapped in a bad way. Something bad enough that he will regret his ways and wish he never stole something that meant so much to someone else.

Since these people only understand things the hard way....let the lesson of life be spoken in the only language they understand.

Sounds like the almighty put a little chlorine in the ol gene pool!!

I was talking to this guy at an apartment complex and he has had two (r6) ripped off from his complex. Realize this is no dump, it was gated and well lit up at night. He had them both locked down with an extremely thick cable to the covered parking pole, disc locks and the thieves still got both of them. Now he has rented out one of the garages. That stuff just freaks me out!! I would have hear failure if I lost my baby!!

Apparently his buddy also had his brand new gsx 600 stole at a different complex....jeez you think about it, maybe someone has it out for these fellas....still very very sad.

I do not think you should feel bad for the guy that ripped your bike off, do you really think he was thinking..."Man, i bet the owner of this bike is really upset, I should take it back." ? I know it does not have the same value as a human life.....Just my opinion.

You steal from me, you better be prepared to pay the price if I ever find you!! :thumbup

I have absolutely no remorse for him. In fact, I hope he suffered before he died. Thieves are the scum of the earth!!!! Glad he's no longer with us!!!

Sorry if I offended anyone, but that's how I feel. :yesnod
