I WAS JUST CURIOUS ? WHO OUT THERE DOES THE WAVE TO YOUR FELLOW BIKKERS? I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT UP BEFORE BUT THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME NEW PEEPS AROUND. :yesnod :yesnod :hellobye :hellobye

I always wave to fellow street bikes but I kinda hold back when I see Harleys because most of them hardley wave back. Usually I wait till they wave then I wave back

:hellobye

I wave to all bikes!!

Quick question. Up here in Utah, scooters are becoming somewhat popular. So, do you wave to them? I don't. I don't think of them as bikes, just scooters. My wife thinks I am a snob. Your thoughts?

Yeah i always wave and if i cant wave at them the get the ole nod.

And police well they get this wave hehehhe

Cheers:beer

Always wave to anyone on 2 wheels.

ok, i talked to my dad this evening and i brought up the question about waving at other bikers on the road. He drives a Harley Davidson Road King.

he said most times he is the first to wave. There are times he doesnt wave if he is shifting gears or something, but other than that, he always waves to any bike. He told me that he could understand why some bikers wouldnt wave back.......i guess its some kind of macho thing?

That's so weird. I was just thinking of this topic today. I hardly see any Harley dudes wave at me. Half the time I'm so much in my own world I don't notice the other bikers until it's too late. They probably think I'm being a snob when really I'm just zoning:eek:

Yeah, I wave to pretty much everyone, but harleys. They never seem to so i just gave up. I think, they think, they are too cool to associate with us sportriders. Do Harley guys wave to each other?

I usually ride a wheelie for the harley guys and wave to everyone else. They already hate me so might as well piss them off more I am sure they wish thier bike could pull the front wheel at 70 plus I think they are jelious or something!

I think alot of times the wave thing differs on where you live. In my area, Harley's rarely wave back.

If they do wave back, you guys might want to verify they aren't flipping you off :) I noticed one time that the guy put his hand out to the side, and his middle finger was extended

Next time I see that I'm turning around and riding next to him flipping him off....maybe I need to do something about my road rage ;)
