Ok so looking at figuring out if I need a time delay relay or a 555 one shot and a normal relay if anyone can help with that that would be awesome

But also on a 2006 r1 or any other for that matter is the thermostat opened when the fans come on or are they independent of each other I ask because if you kept the bike cool enough with thermo fans would it be bad if the thermostats never opens

The Thermostat regulates the coolant flow which carries heat out of the Engine to the exchanger. It wouldn't matter how many fans you had on it, the engine would overheat. The fan control circuit is not electrically linked up to the coolant thermostat but it does require that it senses the heat from the coolant to properly operate at the right time.
