I've been searching seperate threads for each torque spec on the 2006 R1 and can't seem to find all the specs I need. Could someone post a link or pdf with all the torque specs for the 2006 R1?

Right now I need specs for: Rear axle nut, front sprocket nut, rear sprocket nuts, front axle, and front brake calipers.

Thanks for any help.

Please note that these specs are from the 2004 Service Manual. I believe all measures apply to the 2006, but I take no responsibility for that. Use at your own risk :)

Rear Axle Nut: 109 ft/lb
Front Sprocket (Drive Sprocket) Nut: 61 ft/lb (make sure to use a lock washer)
Rear Sprocket Nuts: 72 ft/lb
Front Axle Shaft/Bolt: 66 ft/lb
Front Axle Pinch Bolts: 14 ft/lb
Front Brake Calipers: 25 ft/lb

I'm sure the specs are the same except for the rear axle nut. I believe the 2006 is slightly different than the 04-05 and 07-08. I'm sure I'll be fine but I've heard of specs from 70-108 and now 109 ft/lb.

Thanks for the help! :)

I didn't have a lock washer on the front sprocket (still factory OEM), it just had a flat washer with the tabs bent up.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing. Sill haven't done the rear axle nut because I'm having issues with the metal chain guide bracket that sits in front of the front sprocket. It's not ligning up to all 3 holes. This shouldn't be complicated and I want to make sure I put it back correctly. See picture..VVV

The hole at the top doesn't even come close to ligning up to the threaded hole. I didn't bend the bracket... this is strange.

I tryed bending it and got the holes to lign up better. Getting the cover on sucks but I was able to get all the bolts in place (the top longer bolt that goes through the bracket might be cross threaded because it was tight the whole way through, but it's holding the cover on tight and the threads arn't completely stripped).

I went with 35 ft/lb on the rear sprocket, 61 ft/lb on the front sprocket, and 80 ft/lb on the rear axle nut.
