yo,

i know this is prolly a stupid question but i need to know what Brand of pipe i should put on my bike(03'R1).
what i am looking for is a slip-on with a really clean, sharp sound but not too loud. i have already ruled out a D&D, as my friend had one on his CRB600 and it was TOO loud.

thanks for your input.

try doing a search this topic has been covered numerous times.
this topic has been covered to death... there is no definitive answer, it is all personal preference...

you need to check out the looks and sounds of the pipes in person and make a decision based on that... maybe hit up some second hand bike shops, they will have some 03's for sale and most will have aftermarket cans mounted... then get the sales assistant to fire them up and make a decision based on that...

good luck :thumbup it can be a very painful search as there are just so many options out there

Sato Racing TI upsweep, all TI link pipe, canister band & hanger. Excellent quality, fit, and incredably throaty sound :thumbup

In the above threads alone...7 different brands of pipes were mentioned...by seven different people...Gonna have to figure this one out on your own.
