I was just checking these new Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa`s SP and price for set here is 647 Euro about 920 $ US. That`s just crazy, is pricing same in US? It`s a good tire and all but to think if you use 3 sets or more per season you will start to wake up in the morning with crime on your mind. :)

Good thing we have eBay! (got them for 240 Euro/set on Italian eBay, they also ship worldwide)

THey aren't quite as high here, but they are still the most expensive tire. Prices shot through the roof last year. If they continue to rise, I'll have to switch to Stones.

Burned 4 sets of 002 and now getting my second set of 003. Never a complaint with the 002 canyon/track and the 003 even better. Sticky goodness. Looking at Stones for my slick wheel set up. Suggestions?

Stones are a great tire... Get your bang for the buck for sure! Running 002s and they are awesome. Will try 003 thus coming up season.

The only time I bought Pirelli tires was when you could get the Corsa III front for free when you bought a rear. Otherwise I think they're price a lil high.

I've always liked Michelin, Avon, Dunlop or B-stones just fine...and for less.

002's for my first 4 Track days were quite impressive. Probably going with 003's next year.

I switched to Bridgestone this year, for the same expense reason, the Pirelli's were just too expensive...

Seriously, i get the same grip from the Bridgestone slicks as the pirellis, but the front end feel is far more stable too, the pirelli front always moved around alot under heavy braking.... the new BS slicks are fantastic.. meh..

Looks like the WSBK contract went to Pirelli's head. I've seen most people switch from them to Stones at trackdays & races.

i've only run dunlop slicks, they're more expensive than the pirelli's but they rock. ;) I have some pirelli corsa3s I ran on the track and street, no issues with traction at all on those. I did crash on some pilot powers though, just washed out in a slow turn, don't run those anymore.
