I think its almost impossible to wear out the chicken stripes on the front tire on the streets. Maybe I'm a wuss heh

 

My front honestly sucks.
Hoping to improve the situation tomorrow - but I'm not into going over my head.. I feel the bike has reserves to go, so the front can be scrubbed too, but I'm not sure I can do it smoothly enough.

Well, we'll see.

In the meantime, my front (it improved a bit since this picture, but I'm lazy and not going to go down and take a new one)

Improved front.

I rode behind one of the best.. He was with his girlfriend, and was taking it relatively easy on his ZX636. I was alone and I rode my a$$ off to try and keep up with him, but almost lost his sight after 50 turns. When exiting a turn, I was just enough to see him disappearing in the next one. :cryin
Finally, I caught up on him.. Because he accidentally ran out of fuel :lol

I did 200 miles yesterday, ended up in the canyons out near Malibu and thought I did a couple pretty good turns, but my chicken strips never seem to shrink!! I need to spend more time on the fine art of cornering... I think maybe a trackday will help build confidence!

this is going to sound like a cop-out but..

My digital crapped out on me at the forum convention. Its strange really. It will turn on, and the display will show but it only takes black pictures. Like, on the LCD screen, it will show battery life, and memory space but the screen is totally black. Weird and I've tried everything but it wont work.

Oh well, I havent ridden since the gap, so if I get it working I'll snap a shot for you all...:sneaky

 

I'll take a pic of my front after my Trackday at Barber saturday. Should be pretty good and shredded by then.
