I work construction and when we get out truck tires mounted we use a product called "equal" for wheel balancing. Is anyone else using wheel weight alternatives?

It's just I am about to drop a pretty penny on wheels and the thought of sticking weights on them makes me sick to my stomach lol. I am just really particular about my things as are most of you I'm sure hah. It was just a question that popped in my head. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Call me crazy but I used high density airsoft BB's in mine and it drives perfect. Obviously work the same way dyna beads work. Cost me 14 bucks for enough BB's to balance about 5000 tires lol

After reading around this is pretty common and it seems 2oz for the rear and 1 for the front is normal. I ran 228 .25 gram BB's in my back tire wich is 2oz.

Dynabeads seem to be working good on my bikes IMO, no ugly weights to fall off or time spent balancing either. And as a bonus the tire stays balanced as it wears.

I'm not a motorcycle racer, but I used to race Formula Mazda back in the day. We used stick on weights with duct tape. In my short career in Formula Mazda, I saw only one wheel throw a weight off.

The key is to get the wheels as clean as possible before sticking the weights on, then covering them well with the duct tape.

Stick-on weights covered with black Gorilla Tape for me. I had a weird experience with the DynaBeads clumping in the tires and causing a heavy spot so I'll never use them again.
