I have the poor mans version of this mirror (eBay knock off), but I also don't use it for much more than passing inspection. I only run one on the left side... The nice thing is it comes off in about 15 seconds which makes prepping for the track all the more easier.

 

I just ordered a CRG Blindsight bar end mirror. It's only 2" in diameter. I like a sleek bike without mirrors.

I've been riding without mirrors for almost 5,000 miles now but like you said, it's time I keep a better look out for my ass when riding on the street. I only need the mirror for tailgaters and when stopped at traffic lights.

A soldier here from Fort Bragg was recently killed because a person ran him over from behind while he was stopped at a traffic light. He was a fellow R1 rider and more than likely a member here…

Another reason why I like my annoyingly bright CustomLED tail light. The brightest tail light on the market.

 

I am looking at this option. How does it work with the bar end? Is grip, mirror then bar end? cheers

 

Man I'm sorry to hear that but that is exactly what I worry about. Traffic is very bad here in Wilmington. I also have that same tailight I just like being in more control of the situation than hoping these idiots see the tail.

 

+1 for the CRG Hindsight LS. I run one on the left as well.

 

I have a rear-view cam on mine and it works great.

 

How bad is the vibration on the display? Always wanted to install one.
I run bar end mirrors on mine as well, although I try to keep as few cagers in front or behind me at any given time.

 

Rizoma has the most stylish mirrors you can buy.

Magical Race has the Carbon Fiber. I don't really care for it IMHO. Because i think they look to fat.

 

rizoma mirrors are so clean! cant think of any others that can come close.
