I just installed mine on my 04R1. They look and feel great. There is a plastic cover that goes over the side of the undertail exhaust and it goes between the exhaust pipe and the rear brake reservoir. The new rearsets do not have a place to screw in the bottom of the plastic guard so it just flaps around. I do not want to remove it because I am afraid the heat from the pipe will degrade the brake fluid. Any ideas???
