The 2002 R1 is almost going 10 mph faster at the end of the 1/4 mile. R1 wins for sure. Same power, 110 pounds less weight.

R1 for sure. He would catch up after the 1/4 though, higher top speed.

The 2002 R1 (virtually identical to the 2003) tops at 169. Blackbird tops in the mid 170's. It would take him awhile, but he could catch up if held the throttle wide open for awhile. I wouldn't worry about draggina black bird, you'll win up to 200 for sure provided you are both close skill wise.

 

Oh, the answer to your poll? 2003 R1 with NO mods.

 

depends on both rider skillz. both same weight but at 100 KG thats 220 lbs. the blackbird has the TQ advantage where the R1 doesnt like the heavier riders in drag race. with light guy I say R1. with 100KG guy i say the blackbird in this case. plus the short wheelbase with heavy rider on R1 it tends to wheelie off start where longer WB of blackbird wont. alot of variables in this situation
