I will be 50 this coming November. Been riding motorcycles almost all of my life, sport bike since the early 80's. But I know there are a few members older than me. This was asked a couple of ears ago. Do a search and it may come up.

41 and fat (6' 1", 300 #)! I know that when I pass some folks on the road, they are saying "look at that huge guy on that tiny bike!". It makes all that much better when I go flying through a turn, and they say "Holy shit....look at that fast, fat guy on that little bike!"

I roomed with a member last year at the 2004 R1 convention. His screen name is Purple Lion and he was 58 and riding a 04 R1!

I was riding in San Diego when I seen a DUC with handicap plates. The riders was wearing a half helmet. He must of been over 50 years old. I wonder what was wrong with him? Keep on riding:thumbup

I'm only 37, but my dad takes out my bike at least once a week and he's 76.
And I'm having a tough time keeping him off the track. Sometimes they open the track at lunch for newbies to give it a try. He's always one of the first out there.

52 here! Probably a lot more on them than you realize! Thought about selling/trading the R1, but couldn't do it, so I just bought an FJR also!More for the girlfriend than me though! She didn't care for riding on the R1! Guess I can understand that though. I wouldn't want to ride on the back of that thing either! lol

53 here and beleive it or not the only R1's in the company where I work (some 2,000 people) are ridden by 50 + seniors. BTW I ride to work more than any other rider, either the 12 or R1.

27 here but as some say "Man has as many years as he feels, woman as many as she looks like" ;)
