This subject comes up way to often. He most likely drag races the bike. Why do you worry what others do with their bike, it's just plain stupid. Enjoy yours and don't worry about other people.

I see a lot of bikes like that in my area. Mostly Hayabusa's and GSX-R's and always on the highway with huge chicken strips and flat spots. In my opinion its a waste of a sport bike on the street but it doesn't really bother me to the point where I'm gonna tell them they should switch back to the factory swing arm. Ive had people park next to me with them at meets though and start talking to me about the bike and Ill tell them its not my taste but I never try to offend them or anything. They can do what they want to it and at the end of the day there still on two wheels.

 

19" front and a 280 rear, so it won't go quick in a straight line either, sorry Boss

 

AND, it's the colour of a Ninja

 

People do this to these bike cause they like how it looks, and would rather have a show bike then a race bike. IMO i think it looks cool to look at, i would never do that to mine cause i like to turn lol. But it goes to the same as why do people ride hard tail choppers, they look cool, might have a tone of power that is never used, but thats about it.

 

Im pretty sure that bike doesnt go down the drag strip, maybe his local town show strip with his half helmet and sneakers with wife beater on, reving it hitting the limiter...all show no go. What ever hope he enjoys it. I think it looks like shit and is a total waste. To each his own.

 

For what it is it looks to be done pretty well.

Not for me though.

 

I think its a nice looking bike. Some people just like to cruise.

I used to live near a town called Watsonville, CA. Watsonville is a small farming community, consisting mostly of Mexicans. Watsonville has their share of low riders. I think low riders are cool as fvck, but I wouldn't own one, to each his/her own.

This bike looks cool, but I wouldn't own one. Why bash others because they have different tastes?

 

There's something for everyone, if you don't like it just laugh at it like I do. After all he's doing the same to "us". I'm glad to see they spending money in the aftermarket keeping it afloat.

 

I think with a better color choice i wouldnt be a bad looking bike, that green is just hidious.

 

I think it's badass. Looks like a lot of detail went into the bike. Looks like a sneaky Pete bottle on the tail. Not my style but looks good nonetheless

If it makes him as happy as mine makes me good on him. Not for me obviously but there's a lot effort there and I can appreciate that.
