not really............I like custom fat boys.............always thought to my self if I ever grow up and dont feel the need for speed and grow away from sportbikes I would prolly get a basket case.

I already have a magna to fill the V4 role... and besides, although i typically hate honda and love yammie, hey man, at least my maggie can TURN!!! v-max can't do that trick... ha ha


regarding the hog.. yeah, maybe i bumped my head a hit (ouch)... buy like I said, I'm keeping that YZF of course- I love sportbikes. Last weekend though, my g/f's dad - who is the collest guy in the world BTW, co-erced me into taking his custom clean heritage with his daughter on it!! how ****ing cool is that!! We went for a mother's day run out to captree- I felt bad, I didn't have either of my bikes, thinking we were going out to dinner straight away... he goes- oh no problem- you and des can ride my softtail, I'll take the dresser... I'm just like YEAH.....

so anyhow- I'm the luckiest guy in the world- cause I got an awesome girlfiriend, with a supercool dad AND I'll admit, a burning friggin itch to build the bitchinest fatboy on the planet!!

Not at all , I loved my Fatboy . Out of all my bikes the Fatboy is the Cruiser that I miss the most . I had painted it in a 9/11 Tribute theme and it always was a point of attention at any event plus it was reliable and very comfortable for cruising . We went everywhere on that bike .

it was a rebuilt 883 that he had and the rest he perchased pieces from a dealer and ordered from catologs, and he did all the work himself. all new except the engine

Guys- if you have links to good pictures or good picture books - PLEASE POST - I wanna start putting ideas together now.

also, regarding the apes, actually, I was thinking about putting LOW RISE apehangers on there- the stock bars are almost beach-bar style- very low.. I want something with just a little more rise, but not buckhorns- ape-hanger look in terms of the curve, but a lower rise, like maybe only 8 or 10 inches.. I think it would look HOT- all steel brake lines/throttle lines, really make the controls look tight and clean.. again, if you got pictures and ideas, please let 'er rip-
