i hate people that abuse animals....i used to breed dobermans, i was soo very close to getting into training..I stopped breeding the day i lost one of my dogs..some **** stole my favorite dobe..(had 4 of them...in an APARTMENT no less) and i went to Western Ave dog pound, the big chicago dog pound..theres 4 large bays there and they churn and burn about 400 dogs a week...a Week!!!! they have 5 days once they end up there...you see soo many great dogs with tons of potential there, they are totally neglected, some of them look like they did a tour in VietNam...just totally tortured...i was in tears when i left, and stopped breeding dogs immediately..i always reccomend to Everyone to go to rescues and the pound to get a dog...then go n get some obediance training at least...hey Dogbone, id like to shoot the shit with you one of these days about training...see what im doing right and wrong...i used to train my dogs and the puppies i sold (basic obediance..some hand signals, alittle intermediate obediance stuff etc...) i have gotten lazy with my last dog, and shes runnin the show now...and i can use some tips on gettin her back in line...i know i am going to have to start from the beginning...well, ill tell yah more later...ill PM yah if you dont mind...ttyl

as for your neighbor, JJJAMIN...i think its time to have your buddies over for a pig roast, maybe a burnout contest in your driveway at 3 am, or maybe you can get ALL of the neighbors to walk their dogs to their property to take a shit...yah just wanna grab the bitch and strangle her by the fuckin neck, dont yah...

You could just about beat a dog every day of its life and it will still love you unconditionally, and would even give its life for you. Someone who can intentionally harm a creature like that is sick. I think someone who kills or tortures a dog in a malicious way should be held to the same punishment that someone would be if they did it to a human. There are many factors in violence against humans, malice, greed, envy, etc... Dogs experience none of these, to hurt one maliciously is disgusting and should be held up there with child molestation. I saw a special on "20/20" where they secretly videotaped black market fur traders skinning dogs alive, all kinds. I almost broke down in tears and was sick to my stomach. :no I say we should line these fucks up and :machinegu Actually better yet, we should draw and quarter them like they did those dogs, while they are still alive, then :machinegu

I haven't seen the dog come back home yet so I'll call tomorrow to be sure, but he's probably still at the pound. Cats? I don't dig cats period. My girlfriend has a cat and I tolerate it because I care alot for her. What burns me is, dog owners have to pay for licenses, and keep their dogs confined (fenced or chained) while cat owners pay no fees and cats just wander the neighborhood day and night. There was just an article in our local paper where the animal warden, (who by the way will come pick up a stray dog... but not a cat...?) estimates that there are as many as 30,000 stray cats in Lorain, a city of about 50-60K people... I always tell people who ask about dogs, go to a shelter! There are tons of great dogs for free or a nominal fee. I can't justify paying $$$ for a dog unless you are going to show it. I would volunteer at my local APL in a second, but then you guys would see a post like this about four times a day... Way too many beautiful animals go down every month. Please spread the word to have your animal fixed. Thanks again for all the nice comments. The folks here are the best!:thumbup

Got my black lab from a pound when he was 6 months old. That was 6 years ago, best dog I ever had the priveledge of being around. Raised many dogs, mostly pure breds (St. Bernard, Rotts, Mastiff's & Retrievers), the mixed black lab I got from the shelter is the sweetest motherfucker on the face of this earth (in my eyes), if anyone fucks w/ him they **** w/ me, my 9, and 46 hollow points within arms reach (at all times). Stories like that really get me emotional, I really don't care for people all that much, since most are dicks anyway, but dogs, hell man they're true blue! Even the mean ones can be won over. If I saw a dog being mistreated like that I'd be in prison right now for probably murder, and at the very least assault & battery (on the owner of course). Keep us posted and if all else fails I'll find a home for him here in Illinois.

3. Me

give me a hard time and I'll let it go, life's short. **** w/ #'s 1 and 2 on my list, wear a bullet proof vest.

I just got off the phone with the pound... The owners showed up today and picked up the dog... Unfortunately, nothing to be done about it, legally they're entitled... However, when I see the guy who the dog belongs to, I intend to make it clear that I will be watching very closely to make sure that the dog is cared for, and if it looks otherwise, I'll see to it they're busted... Bums me out, I was hoping to go first thing in the morning and grab him, but no deal. Thanks very much to all for your kind words and offers. Looks like for now, I'll just have to keep my eye on him.
