Ya I just talked with you, hope every things cool. Sorry about the inconvience. Just let me know if there's anything else I can help with. Hope you get it together for this weekend!
Is Graves planning to ever fix the block off plate design? I would think after this much time that the ones being sold now would be correct.

Thanks for the help Peyton.

No time to work on the 06 for awhile.

But my 01 is still a hot rod of a bike. I'll be on that for Labor Day weekend.

Life is still Good.

be careful what you say about the vendors, the shills i mean mods will threaten to ban you for dissing the gods i mean vendors. i used to go to a church where the elders and board of directors were all sycophants and after the the pastor got caught doinking the administrator for 18 months she got fired and he kept his job. highest paid person in the church AND they gave him 12k/yr for "parsonage".

I'm not a betting man, but based on your comments and general state of complete D-bag, I'd say you've got a good chance.

No one here cares if you post a legitimate gripe or negative opinion about any vendor or product. Obviously, you cross the line when the entire thread turns into libelous and malicious accusations that hold little to no merit.

Read this thread. The vendor responded promptly and fixed the situation. Vendors know and value the word of mouth advertising that a 70,000+ member forum provides.

Before making a further jackass of yourself would you care to explain what you're crying about or do you just bitch in unsubstantiated generalities?

Ya it's been fixed but there's still a lot of the "old" style plates out there, and there's nothing wrong with them you just have to cut or grind off the nipple on the cage.

Is there a way to order the new ones? If I spend that much money on some steel plates, I want them to fit without any "cutting" or "grinding" on my part.

Glad they updated them. I have installed 3 sets, so I'm pretty familiar with cutting the nipple off. It is just annoying to have to keep cutting them off. I will probably be installing another set this weekend, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for them to be the updated plates.

Thanks for the info.

If you know they don't fit & have a new style that does is it not your responsibility to recall the old style from distributers & make sure everyone gets plates that fit?

kinda sounds like the right thing to do for the customers sake & for the company's reputation.

to not do so, just sounds like you don't care.

doesn't affect me personally, cause I don't have them, just giving you an outside view of it.

There's no reason to go through the headach of a recall for a product that works fine there's just an extra step in installing them on 25% of 06-07s. But if someone gets the old style and wants the new ones I have no problem exchanging them (before they've been installed!)
