now the ball is in my court.
now i have options.
i don't want to lose this one at all.
pretty much my fantasy is to set up some type of meeting spot and then rape him. :sneaky

but more enough i was thinking of setting up links on my web server of pics from my bike accident to prove that i have money from my insurance company to buy a replacement bike.
this way i can at least obtain an ip and at least get an idea of his whereabouts.

guys...i need more ideas on what i should do next.
possibly someone write up something good.
we all agree on it and then reply.
but i don't want this to linger on any longer than it has to because remember he is trying to sell this quick and i know i'm not the only one who is inquiring about this bike.

this is what he replied with:

Code:
Hello,
First you must know that i"ve moved from US to EUROPE because i"ve
opened a
bussines here with my uncle.
My registration info is still under the US address but now i"m in
Italy. I
can shipp this using DAS and the shipping will be $660.
The payment must be aranged by wire transfer .
If agree with my dealing method e-mail me back
Reply soon!
Thanks

What an idiot. So, this guy is in Italy and you are supposed to blindly wire him a few grand, and naturally the bike will be at your front doorstep in a few weeks! Ha ha:sleep DO these people this they are dealing with complete morons here?

Tell him something like this: "So you are living in Italy? Great! I and 3 of my bodybuilding friends are leaving next week for a 3 week vacation in Italy. We are renting a car and traveling all over from Venice down to Rome. Of course we should make arrangements to meet in person so that I can give you the payment. Then you can sign some documents that I will have prepared stating your intentions to sell the bike to me. My friends and I would love to meet you and take you out for lunch sometime while doing business. Why dont we exchange phone numbers and you can tell me where and when we should meet. This is wonderful and will work out for the both of us. I get to personally hand you the money and you can tell me more about the bike! Stay in touch soon!"

Then watch the fooker squirm:eek:wwn3d

:2bitchsla

i don't want to scare him but someway get some type of real solid information on him.
can't really do too much with an ip but at least know his whereabouts.
i'm hoping it's somebody from mass. :crash

i'm still thinking it's someone in the us posing as someone from europe.

If agree with my dealing method e-mail me back
That right there tells me he is from Europe. Sentence structure. Also the spelling of shipp with 2 p's. Also the use of "arranged" in the wire transfer statement. Definite european or someone that has lived in europe long enough to know the lingo.

Also, the wire transfer is another clue. Total hands off approach to get some free cash.

Cycletrader is pulling the ad today!!
:( damn i was really looking for a bed buddy.
actually that makes things even better since he will try his hardest to sell this "so-called bike" since his ad will no longer be displayed.

i am one of hopefully the few who inquired about this imaginary bike of his.

I had someone tying to pull the same thing on me. The ad said the bike was in Louisiana. The phone number just rang and rang then I finally got a returned email. He (Jose) said he moved to Europe and wanted me to wire a $1000.00 to him and he'd ship the bike. If you can blindly send someone a grand and expect the bike to be shipped your a dreamer and very gullible.

Honestly I wanted the bike (’02 R1 for $3,500.00) real bad, like anyone else but would never make such a $$$ transaction without seeing it first. The sad part is it’s obviously working for some or the scammers wouldn’t bother (MOTHER F’ERS @%$%^&)!

What a friggin scumbag

The guy is in the US not overseas, he just says that to make the story jive. Furthermore, they intentionally change sentence structure, english etc, to make it sound more convincing. The second you propose a meeting, or seeing the bike, you will never hear from him again. I have screwed with poeple like this before, and they break communication as soon as it get's too hot for them. They're just looking for a sucker, and sooner or later they find one.

You don't have to worry about your bike getting stolen, it is not going to happen, and the phone number is a random one that they choose. These are white collar criminals not thieves in the sense of stealing a bike or burglarizing a house. They're still scum, just the same, and they all deserve to die!

It's too bad you can't arrange to meet him. It might be fun to pull up on "his" bike then beat the hell out of him.

has anyone seen my bike on this thing? :machinegu :machinegu all dishonest people!

hope you nab him and nab him hard... My buddy (in the Navy) is into that martial arts crap and moving to itally in 3 weeks.. im sure he would help us out if you needed it..

after i get back from the gym i'll write up something that will spark some real interest in the hopes of him wanting to strictly deal with me.

but again give me some ideas and give me some questions that i should ask him.
i would like to submit this asap.

Tell him that if he deals strictly with you that you will cover shipping costs plus 250-500 bucks extra for exclusive rights to buy his nicely done up bike. hopefully he buys it.
