Well, ladies and gents, I am officially a part of 'the club'. I just picked up my 05 R1 and need more info from the pros about how to do this and that, where to ride, etc. Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself and say wassup and I'll be frequenting the R1-Forum more often as time goes on and the days warm up. Look forward to talking and maybe even meeting some of you. Peace.

People can get one as first bike. Not smartest thing but if they respect it and take it easy. I think they should be fine. The ones that get out and stomp it to show off are the ones you see in hospital. This is just my opinion on it.:no :yesnod

FYI - This is not my first bike. I am not a 'squid'. And thanks for the welcome everyone. I will post some pics tomorrow night - the weather will be better tomorrow and I'll take her out for a short ride.
Does anyone have a good idea for a undertail/license plate holder? I have seen Eurobikes and theirs looks good. ???

Another question...Why is everyone hating on the whole 'Raven' term? It is the name given to the color scheme, and another way, IMO, to differentiate it from the other colors. Just my 2 cents for the day...

Congrats on the new ride:thumbup I went with the Greggs fender eliminator, and the tail light intergrater combo to clean up the rear! Do a search for more info. All the parts are available from tobefast.com
