Dun't know much about the Termignoni, but have been told told the Yoshi is more suited for a Gixxer. No need to change the header if your not racing. A full system will yield the most power up high in the rev range, but will sacrifice power in the lower rev range, hence reducing rideability round town. A full system excludes EXUP.

Akrapovic makes a good slip on, best bang for the buck, performance/sound. Even a slip on will be louder than stock, so yes, peeps on your street will hear you comin and goin.

As far as needing a power commander, you could prolly get away with adding a slip on and not have to tune it, but it'll run better with a tune.

 

1) When you speak of performance, do you mean power? I'm assuming your mileage (miles/gal) would go down with an aftermarket exhaust, but I could be wrong. The improved air flow and heat dissipation may work to your favor.

2) If I don't change to an aftermarket header, I've been told that installing a slip-on would give me minimal power gain. Is this correct?

Hey man, nice bike. Which power commander did you go with? Any downside to keeping the stock headers?

 

I have Yoshis on my 07!
Everyone looks twice when they realise it because, like mentioned above, generally speaking Yoshi is for Suzuki.

I took the rear baffles out (think there are two in the Yoshis) and its loud!! Not wake the neighbours loud, but loud enough to piss them off if they're outside when I gear down.

IMHO, they look :boobies too. If I had to redo my bike, I would get Yoshis again.

Go with the Termi's... I've had mine for 4years now on my 04 and they look like brand new. Very good quaility and even better sound!! Low steady growl at idol but screams at full power.

 

i like the termi, but i also like the yosh cans.

but, if i had to choose i would go with the termi
