Does it matter what bike...mine is already low well the overflow is on low right above the stator cover...I can't tell what color it is..looks like a darkish green but can't really tell and haven't taking the cover off to look but do they sell any of this at Advanced Auto Parts or anything?
I have this same problem....res is about 2" below the low mark... I really dont want to flush the whole syst just bring that level back to low. Cant tell wha color it is, dont know what brand it is, i bought the bike used... Can i just ad some destiled water and call it a day?

The bike is 5 years old. Probably time for a coolant change anyway. BTW, you can pop the radiator cap to see what color it is and I'd stick with a motorcycle specific coolant. I've been using Yamacool for years and it's never let me down.

I have tried water wetter and engine ice. And have come to the conclusion that both are excellent products. If you live in a place where you don't worry about freezing temps then water wetter, but with that said even if you don't freeze engine ice is a great as well of course it is better for lower temps because it wont freeze up to I believe -27 or so. I have tested both and came down with these numbers on my 02 R1..... Water wetter dropped me a consistent 7-10 degrees. As where engine Ice dropped me 6-8 degrees as you can see we are only talking a few degrees between the two! I just use Engine Ice just in case it ever does decide to freeze why worry about my lines freezing up for just 1-2 degrees difference??

You can use any coolant that is Silicate free. It is your choice, some just work better than others. AMSOIL coolant is good for 7 years/750,000 miles in a gas engine. Add the Dominator Coolant Boost and it will help almost any coolant do a better job.

If your goal is to make it run the coolest it possibly can, then you will use the Liquid Performance Coolants.

Oil, is the Lifeblood of your engine. The oil filter, is the Kidney that keeps it clean.

The Best isn’t cheap

so is coolant boost+water or coolant boost+liquid performance better?

and your directions say to not use distilled water with coolant boost by itself? are we really supposed to use just tap water?
