Start with checking fuses. Then have the battery load tested at the auto parts store if they're ok. If it's too weak it just won't spin the starter.
Then diagnose from there. Always start with the easy stuff

 

Are you saying the motor doesn't turn over at all? What's the history? Bike been sitting for 10 years? Any work done to it...? Could be a weak battery. Have you tried car jumping it?

Its been sitting for maybe a year or two but the guy before me I’m thinking wired the fuel pump to the start button I have to jump the starter to get the bike to crank instead of the button. It’s stock except a power commander
