DanQ and I are trying to set up the Sushi Run like we did last year on Wednesday during The Convention. We gotta hear from BluAreWon, vroomR6 and CrankShaft as they were the ride bosses. Doug and Bill knew the back roads up to Knoxville and seems like we all met up with Eric who took us to the Japanese Steak House. We need about 10 or 20 folks to make this worthwhile.

Here's the schedule from last year,,, sorta loosely put. :lol

Kickstands up at 0930 hrs at CROT. Follow BluAreWon and vroomR6 via backroads up into Knoxville where we meet up with Crankshaft. Crankshaft leads us to the sushi place. I think we got there last year right around 1200 hrs. 1.5 hrs or so eatin' sushi or whatever your choice of meal (they have lots more food than sushi/sashimi). Amble back to Fontana via Foot Hills Pkwy and get back around 1630 hrs.

Let us know in this thread and I'll keep a tally of folks that wanna go in this post. :thumbup

There is actually a full menu at the hibachi we went to last year. That place was first class all the way, although they could have used more parking :fact

i had almost thougt about tagging along just for the ride. I hate sea food and definatly not eatting that stuff raw! lol maybe a steak or grab something if others are eatting something else.

The only problem i have is if its wed i cant go as ill be dirt ridding with that group on wed. DanQ i thought you were comming ot tkae pics and stuff on wed? If the date changes days let me know i might go with you guys and i might get the 2 guys comming with me to go as well.

 

They are doing MX a couple of days. I will be coming out for the MX stuff, but I will do the Sushi Run too. Not sure what day what will happen, but I think the Sushi run is a non impacter to the MX riding. Hopefully all will happen well.

We'll have a fun ride for sure. Nuttin' too fast, not balls out but not boring either. We had the most fun last year on the way back to Fontana. We stopped at the top of The Foothills Parkway where "one of our members" ahem, ahem,, had to take a dump. We were all diggin' in our tankbags for BabyWipes, napkins, clean sweat rags,,,,, whatever we could come up with. :lol
