Well since I just did a new paint job on my bike I figured I would show it off. I know it doesnt have all the money thrown in it like some bikes in the BOTM section do with a 3 page long list of aftermarket parts added to it. But its not all about who spent the most money i hope.

Well here it is my 09 R1. It started out yellow but did a paint job last week Mineral Grey. (yeah I still got the yellow plastics and tank too)

The list of mods is kinda small. But these bikes are pretty stout as is. So why not spend some money to make it stand out from the rest as well as on the performance bits.

Yoshi TRC-D carbon fiber slipons
Leo Y-pipe
PCV with custom map
Greggs Customs flush mounts
LED amber front running lights with blinker mod

Powdercoated rearsets and passenger pegs
Powdercoated Yoshi heat shields with "ghost image" R1 logo
rear brake res delete with tygon tubing
Black Dzus D-ring Fasteners
Black Stomp Grips
Powdercoated Stock Fuel cap
GYTR Double Bubble Dark Tint Windscreen
Driven -1/+1 Sprocket/chain kit
Michelin Pilot Road 2 front and rear

i'm actually thinking about losing this R1 logo. I thought it was nice when I first found it online but once on the bike i'm less than pleased with it.

heres a better pic of it

I knew I was forgetting something haha thanks man

My favorite paint scheme is the 07 charcoal grey and my favorite body style is the 09+ so this is like having the best of both worlds!!!

I agree with you with loosing the R1 logo and either leave it off or replace it with a carbon fiber or black one.
same here. I was going for the color of the 07 charcoal this is just a little lighter but it works good

I plan on getting a black R1 logo just havent set my mind on if i want it to have a border or something

yeah i need to see what the measurements on that sticker is. the one i have on the bike now is a 5 inch decal and it just looks tiny on that huge fairing.

Looks great but I'm partial to silver & gray, is it two tone or is it just the lighting/shadows? Hard to tell in photos, but looks like mids are lighter gray than lowers.
good eye. the mids are a lighter shade. I used a light shade of primer on the mids. I wish I could say I planned that but honestly i ran out of the duplicolor primer and didnt want to spend $20 for another can just to do the mids. so I got a rattle can and used it. i couldnt match the shade of the primer i had so i went with a white knowing it would make the paint a little lighter. better lighter then darker or almost black. I think it worked out really well. kinda helps break up the color a little bit

Actually the suspension is setup. finally got to the track this past weekend and had it dialed in. the guy said with my weight and since i only ride street then the stock stuff will work just fine for me. now if i start running track days I may wanna change out the rear shock but said the fronts are fully capable with my weight (185)

I like it R1nStang!!! :flex:
thanks fella's no rattle can this time. I did it the right way and actually bought a paint gun and a can of paint. first time using a paint gun so it does have an imperfection here and there but unnoticable unless your leaned in and staring at the paint.

I think thats the same logo Tdubb has on his. I was just trying to figure out how to place it since the fairing is f'n huge. looked at some pics on yamahsa website and I think the stock location would be best looking for it.
