Hey hey. Anyone need an animated gif done of a video file that they have? Whatever the need I may be willing to do one for free, as a test. Send me a link to the video or make arrangements to email it to me and select no more than a 5 second scene and I will try and make a gif for you that can be used for an avatar or signature or whatever. I don't think I'll get very many hit's on this, but if I do I'll only do 1 or 2 of the 1st requests immediately.

Not even close. At 430kb, it's over 6 times to big. Quality is good though.

It is 20% smaller than the example I've shown. I can make the file size smaller, much smaller, and the quality will go with it.

That's why your example isn't an avatar either. Avatar max is 66kb.

I don't really need it. Thought one of the other guys might though. And you looked like you wanted some to do.

Yeah, doesn't really matter. I can do avatar sized gif's, but you have to be selective as to the frames that you want. I can take the time to reduce the picture quality of each frame to allow for more frames in the animation, but I'll save my efforts for someone who really wants to use it.

Here's that same monkey avatar style, 120x120 and only 45K.

I've just been messing around with this stuff and don't care either way if anyone wants something like this... just thought I'd offer since I've got the tools.
