Yeah i love colorado, been out here most my life. What other state can you have snow and be 30 degrees and by noon be 80 degrees and perfect riding weather.

rwon, i'm tryin to put together a ride to bishops castle for any of the guys in springs, pueblo and southern colorado. I'd be cool to get guys from denver too, but thats a long ride! the thread is a couples below this one!

 

Im moving to Fort Collins May 29th and I will be picking up my R1 when I get out there. Im looking for one in the area and right now, there are a few to choose from! I hope to meet some guys from this board.

 

I haven't ridden with any other members on this forum, but I can tell you that several of us from another forum always meet up in either Boulder or Golden and ride the canyons every weekend. Pm me anyone here wants to join in.

I know that screen name.... Yep in Co. too though I haven't ridden with anyone here but Mr. Str86 above. (Mainly used this forum to get my 99R1 track bike up and running this winter.)

So if you see a a white helmeted silver/black 03 R6 rider or a white 99 R1 w/ black lower and #83 plates in pueblo that's me.

 

Hey I live up in Boulder CO....rode with flashgordon a few weekends ago. Moving to the CO. Springs in a few weeks but keep an avg. of 400-600 miles a weekend...there are some good rides up by estes park, boulder canyon to netherland, US6, and left hand canyon....I rode 6 quite a few times and was nailed by the staties more than once....one of my fav rides is I70 for a cruise

I will ride anywhere in this state on the weekends to meet...Keep me in mind fellas


Any of you ride with the federalies???? All off Federal Boulevard???. I rode with that group and saw some of the craziest dumbest crap ever on the hwy...didn't know they were like that...not bashing just surprised. 8 wrecked bikes....just forwarning..never will do it again

 

I wanted to make myself known in here finally. I signed up four years ago and completely forgot that I had done so. I guess it's time I started making some contributions. Anyway, It's looks like I might have some time for some weekend rides up to the hills. I'll check in here with you guys to see whats up coming.

Red River is about 1:45min away from trinidad, it a small rally, that has been increasing in size for a while now. We(Djack) are planning on goin down there and staying one night i think. Its like a small sturgis. I live down here in trinidad where dave lives, and actually i went on that ride with you and ur bro,dave,daniel and myself up through colorado city last summer. Thats when ur bro had the mis-hap. I got rid of my buell and bought a silver 2002 r1, and am loving it. Attached is a pic of daves bike, daniels bike, my bike, and my cousins bike.

 

oh ok. Nice looking bike, hehe. I am busy these next two weekends. Track meet this and camping next. But lets set something else up in the near future. Dave was talking about a ride farther north than last time. I know i great couple rodes that go north of here if you guys wanna make it long day.

So this Sat, there is going to be a bike run in celebration of a new memorial dedicated to Colorado soilders. A bunch of us are going to be riding down to denver to meet up with all the others. I think its like 20.00 to participate, however after around 1:00 a few of us are wanting to ride. Anyone around denver on Sat that wants to ride, or has a group that wants a few other folks, send me a PM.

I'm riding to gunnison from Boulder anybody up for it this Saturday??? This weekend its a full days ride and I'm not sure which route yet but I'm staying the night up there just didn't know if anybody was heading that way.

Which route are you taking? Man i would love to go with you, its a great ride from down here. WHen you get there you should DEFINETELY go up the canyon and ride on 92 if you never have.

 

Hey all I am out of the Collins area myself maybe I can meet up with some of you also?

 

Weather permitting I'm going be to going:

West on Boulder Canyon Dr
North on Peak to Peak HWY (72) at Nederland
and either
a) East onto Lefthand Canyon Dr at Ward
or
b) East onto S. St Vrain Dr at Raymond
and then
back down Foothills HWY

The ride is about 1.5-2 hours depending on which route.
PM me if anybody is interested for this ride this weekend.

Lol, i dont hang at the shell with my helmet strapped to the bike if thats what your asking! Been riding since 2001, have about 20k miles riding time myself. Planned on going up through deckers tomorrow but Depends on if I get some yard work done. Where do you and your wife enjoy riding? I only ride ride with my brother and a couple of other guys I know. Some much older than me. But if you guys wanna head up on some roads just let me know.

It has been so crappy with rain here!! I went to Red river with a few and we froze at night, and got rained on! When it looks clear I think I will head up that way. I have the last week of June and The first week of July off. We should do something!

 

FOR ALL THE GUYS SUBSCRIBED TO THIS THREAD WE SHOULD ALL SET A DATE AND RIDE ROUTE FOR A DAY AND MEET UP!!!! Most of us have talked about it and couldn't meet up....we should set a date in the future and all clear your schedules for that day. Bring friends, wives, and buddies ....someone who knows some of the hot spots around here should organize the route....I'm a youngn but I love to ride along. I never know where I am exactly, but I'll ride accross state to meet and go have a good day......

Sounds like a plan!! I know lots of good roads around this area but not up north or way south. Where would the majority start from? Im kinda in the middle so makes no nevermind to me. Cant wait though!
