I have been trying to find a list of mods for the bikes in SBK. I was just wondering what all they do to those bikes, and how much of a difference in power they have. I know they obviously put a full exhaust, PC3, and ignition module, along with complete suspension, brakes, rims and bodywork/everything carbon fiber. What else?

I read an interesting article about King Jame's tenkate Winning Honda and he wasn't getting near the factory support some of the other teams were getting but it didn't sound like he was getting "that" off the wall stuff...

BSB run the same FIM rules as WSB and although factory support is provided to a couple of the top teams most are done in house with off the shelf parts and some help from clever engineering. These bikes are not putting out WSB levels of power as they do not have the money to buy into the factory pool of special parts. But here is a Privateer Kawasaki ZX10 from 2 years ago. Remember this is not a factory bike and has "normal" tuning within the FIM rules.

tires, race bodywork, suspension, rearsets, exhaust, and internal engine modifications to make it super sport legal

mostly handling and ergonomics upgrades.

I can only imagine what the full factory bikes put out. But damn 217 hp and not full factory support that is beastly.:scared:scared:scared:scared:scared

Handling of a GP bike versus the SBK bikes is very different. Much more radical on the GP bike, as the braking is much later and on throttle far sooner. Even Spies commented on it recently...
