FHP is unbelievable! I have a friend who is looking at 30 to 90 days in jail for reckless driving and not having his endorsement. I will admit sometimes my friend rides like an idiot but I think we all do once in awhile. I dont think he deserves jail time, thats BS! I have seen people get off with 21 days for possession with intent to distribute cocaine. This guy was never arrested before and only has some racing tickets from when he was a kid. Maybe if FHP did real police work they would know the meaning of the word discretion, makes me :ugh

hmmm another member here got a reckless ticket a few days ago and was given a PTA but it was from Miami-Dade....

I cant hate FHP for doing their job and I cant bash your buddy for riding like he does, but I can bash him for not having an endorsment. WTF is he doing?

ride normal and you have nothing to worry about. fhp's job is to make sure the highways and people using them are safe. well if you get pulled over for careless driving and you were careless driving then whos fault is that not the fhp they are just doing a job. now dont get me wrong I dont obey any laws when I ride but I also know if I get pulled over and get in trouble there is only one person to blame and that is myself.

plus they really hate when you dont have a endorsement if he had his I bet the fhp would have worked it out with him a little better. but you sometimes have to put yourself in someone elses shoes if your day to day job consisted of picking sport bike riders off the ground and having them run from you dont you think when you get one on the side of the road you would have a little sore spot for them too and want to set a example on each and every one you pull over.

see herein lies the shitty part, the vast majority of those that you pick up off the ground or run from you, would never have stopped, yet by the biker stopping he doesn't get any compasion in return...not saying a cop should be nice to you just cuz you stopped, but he doesn't need to hate either

what is considered hate though?

Example, A guy at work constantly hits on your girl, is she hating by going to HR about it? Should she be nice because he hasnt groped her?

WELL I am going to be honest here unlike most. when I see I am going to be pulled over I make a decision right there and then I look for a plan of escape if that plan has any kinds of problems with it I will just pull over so I am sure your friend and most of us do the same. I may be that same guy that ran from them yesterday but today got caught with my pants down so I just pull over..

1st, your friend screwed himself by not having his shit straight...it's not that hard to go get the motorcycle endorsement

2nd, we all know FHP are nothing more than ticket jockies. They are there to write tickets and bring in as much money for the state as they can. They are different from most county or city cops who sometimes will give you a break if you just have a good attitude and have your shit straight. FHP have no compassion and do what they have been told by their superiors, which is to write as many tickets as they can. I know many cops and every single one of them (and the cops they work with) dislike troopers. In other words, you know if they pull you over you're gettin a ticket.

and 3rd, Dwayne is a **** with sweaty balls who rides with his pants down ::crash :lol

well she's already being extremly nice cuz if he tried to hit on her again after she mention she was married I'm pretty sure he and I a hammer and some deck screws would be having an interesting get together

he was lucky they didnt take him to jail.

You would be surprise of how many laws we break when we are riding. I know me personally, 90% of the time, the way i ride its in the neighborhood of "reckless driving" :fact Hell, i break at least 3 just getting out of my complex.
A lot of the people on here wont admit it but they break quite a bit of laws when they are riding as well. Once in a while though, someone gets caught and has to pay the price.

He did take him to jail and impounded his bike. I think that was enough, and now he went to pretrail and a Broward Co. judge wants to throw his ass in jail.:bs
does he have a lawyer?

so your pissed cause some cop did his job? I agree with GayMax, your friend didnt have his shit straight and he stopped, he was speeding, riding wreckless...also, the way Beefer puts it, yeah I break most laws when I ride, but I try not to do them around others

So how is that FHP's fault? Once booked in it's out of the officer's hands. Blame the judge or better yet blame your boy.

:fact

They arrested him and towed his bike. You guys dont get the whole reason for this post. FHP gives no breaks. There was no need to stroke the guy with all those tickets. I would have gave him the ticket for the endorsment and speeding and sent him on his way. The real a$$ holes that ride dont stop.
