Geez! That sucks!

 

I just went out and looked at it with one of the company's employees, and just noticed a crack and scratch in the tail fairing......

My suspicions have now been verified.

Some FCVKING Dbag in a lifted truck opened his FCUKING door into my bike. The bottom of the door caught my fairing about 1/2 inch and cracked it, and dented the fcvk out of my tank!

Thanks! Fcvking cager! I don't even know how the hell he parked close enough to swing his door into my freaking bike.......

Lesson learned. I'm never parking my bike in a parking stall again. F' this BS!

My dad was door dinged one day at work and he knew who did it, it was one of the welders on his job site he confronted the dude and he said "oh my bad", so my old man kick the guys welding helmet off of the roof. A small victory....I dont park anywhere that could happen, sorry about your bike man!

 

I feel ur pain, some asshole pushed a kart into my rx8 at the walmart parking lot and put a big dent on driver side door, I know it wasn't my bike but still my property and I work hard for it, good luck with the security footage...

 

IDK why my phone is sending such small pics, but here is the tail. Hard to see the crack in the paint. You can just barely see it, the dark line, in the second pic.

It definitely looks like it should have fallen over with how hard it was hit. I just checked the parts. $700 worth of damage to buy new OEM parts from www.yamahapartshouse.net. That doesn't include the jester guard or shipping.

 

damn that sucks man. any luck with the security footage? had someone at one of my jobs evidently back into the front bumper of my mustang and took off a 5" X half inch chunk of paint off...right along the racing stripe too. they never said a word either.

No luck. Parked in the wrong spot. Basically right between their cameras. You could only see me pulling out. However, I don't think any of the vehicles there were tall enough to do the damage......

 

Makes sense, it's hard to believe a door did that. That just almost looks like vandalism.

i quit riding to work. 2 punks tried to sit on my bike while it was parked right in front of my business. i nearly went to jail that day. :nforc:

 

look around and see whos vehicle matches the damage. if the footage doesnt show the bike being hit atleast you could see who came and went during the hours it was hit.

 

can you see rego's on your footage?
I'm not sure how many cars would come and go but maybe get a list together and see if your local PD would do anything. One of those cars is going to have some corresponding damage.

 

OK, it just keeps getting better. Evidently someone also knocked my bike over. IDK if it happened when the tank and fairing damage happened(I could have been too caught up on that and not seen the damage to the frame slider and lower fairing......) or later, but I just found even more damage to my bike. This didn't happen at work, and I'm going to check my driveway to make sure this crap didn't happen in front of my house.

Time to get a pager alarm for it...... I'm looking thru some. Anyone have one that they like?

 

A week after I find this..... My room mate told me she tried to move my bike and dropped it against the filing cabinet...

So, no car door, no bat, no rage. I wish I knew about it when it happened! Grrrr.

The dent wasn't a bat. It was also the corner of the filing cabinet pushing into the gas tank. You know....... Metal edge vs metal edge...... They look pretty similar...... :2bitchsla

Same chemical make up(sheet metal and paint). Same shape(edge of sheet metal/corner). Same theory(flat edge applied to my gas tank). Just the wrong type of force applied. :fact :2bitchsla

It was bugging me the whole time for 2 reasons.
1) It's really high, and I never park anywhere close to the lines on parking spots.
2) The scratches on the back were straight, pointing across the bike(what didn't make sense).

......and a third) It didn't happen at Albertsons (based on the fact that I could see every vehicle that parked next to the bike, just couldn't see my bike right off the camera, and none of them were tall enough), meaning the only other place it could have happened was at the bank, which I was standing 30 ft away from the bike. Granted, I had my Ipod on...... but I think I would have noticed or it would have been pointed out as there were 8 people there.

 

Your story with the lifted truck didn't click for some reason. I too had a feeling there was a vagina involved.
