Motorcycle shipping

While looking up some for information for someone trying to find motorcycle shipping information I found a place on the net called uShip.

Apparently what they are is an eBay type site that takes the information on the item you want shipped (to include motorcycles) and they have carriers revers bid for your shipment. So you should end up with a pretty low shipping amount.

This could be useful for those of us wanting to buy a motorcycle that is at a distance, and could beat a round trip with a truck/trailer at todays gas prices.

The url is http://www.uship.com/landingpages/xtemplate/motorcycle_graphic_promo4.aspx

Check it out. Could be helpful. :thumbup

Use a reputable company.

Some of my friends have nightmare stories about bikes not being at destination on time because they used a low cost shipper that delivered several bikes at once and his was a drop along the way, etc etc

I used forward air with my r1 and some ebay place for the r6...forward air $391 from WV and the ebay company $648 from Virginia to Denver...... same distance same time, but since I bought this one on ebay the shipper HAD to use one of their shipping companies.... he refused to go another route. My r1 was off ebay as well...but that guy was cool.
