Day #2 of a four day weekend for me. Sad part is, I'm going into an 18 day straight work cycle which includes a week of on call and then an all weekend long data center power maintenance which requires I shutdown all servers and then have to deal with them coming back online. :shake

what were you saying about androids being the best and crackberries sucking again???

Losing phone contents always sucks...I have Blackberry protect that uploads everything I want on a regular basis so i can download to any other phone I need. Hopefully you have something like that for yours.

All my content is backed up. I've got this one rooted and a new rom. Somehow it tried to do an update it's not supposed to. I think it may have pocket dialed into it and reset my junk. I bricked it trying to recover and update the clockwork mod in Odin.

that sucks, 18 days is quite a stint. i used to have a after hours deal where we would always have someone on call but it just wasnt worth the time. everyone wants to be able to get stuff after hours but nobody wants to pay for it. i charged 40 just to unlock the door whether we had the parts or not:lol

Damn, that's not worth it to me. Then again, O'Rielly is open from 0700 until 2100 most nights while NAPA shuts the doors around 7:00pm. :crash


It's going to suck on the on-call, but worse the weekend maintenance. Will get about three hours of sleep all weekend. Might buy a cot and sleep in the van to avoid having to do the hour drive each way.

I go right into working M-F. IT pays nice. But, sometimes the hours and pay just don't match up.
