Hello everyone, right now I am fabricating a turbo kit for my bike. I was wondering If I would have to get a timming retarder or mess mith the compression any if I'm running 6-7 psi. Or what other modificatons I would have to do to the motor or carbs. And help would be greatfull thanks all

4-6 lbs boost...be okay with good fuel.. not pump.. any more boost, and u need some good race fuel and prolly lower compression and or pull some timing out.

so i should be fine with bigger jets and fuel pump? what fuel do you recommend like 93 octane, or methanol?
thanks bro.

might mix super with some race fuel. methanol is whole other thing... total re configure fuel system and double jetting size and fuel pump. check out VP's fuel website. see if u have local dealer. get some 100 or so octane and mix it. vp c-12 is decent price and like 107 octane. mixing it with super would be safe.

Yep. I was there. Fast ass bike. What's up Brandon?

Don't have my R1 anymore. Just couldn't get the clutches to last long. Sold it and bought this. '02 ZRX 1200. 1224 kit, head work, cams, McIntosh 8 over, Dale Walker Holeshot exhaust. Soon to have a Dyna 2k ignition, 38mm Mikkuni flatslides, and 50 shot nitrous. Ran a 6.17 @ 113 with a 1.48 60 ft. Hopin' for 5.90s with the bottle.

You gonna be comin' to Abilene in 2010 to run with us?
