Temp light came on after being a fool - how bad is it?

After adjusting the valves, then replacing the starter motor, I neglected to burp the cooling system. Subsequently I did not have enough coolant. About a mile from my house, the temp light came on. I pulled over and shut it down - temp read 244°F. When the temp read 200°, I started it and rode several blocks until the temp hit 235°. Then I stopped and waited until it read 200°F. Rode a few more blocks, then temp hit 235° so I stopped. Not enough left in the batt to start it, but I was 1.5 blocks from my house, so I pushed it. NBD

Now I'm wondering how badly / if I have done Terrible Things to my 2010 R1. Any knowledgeable folks (e.g. DarkHorse) have any wisdom to pass-on?

If you start gettin' oil out of the gaskets or coolant in the oil you'll know you've got bad news coming. Otherwise give 'er the correct amount of coolant and run her till the wheels fall off bud. Hard for me to tell if she is poked from here, but I can say, if she is poked, you'll know.

Any time bud, I'm hoping for the best for you. Take it for a jaunt and then change your oil. If it looks like milk, that's no good. If I were wearing your boots I'd drop the oil again in a few days just to be double sure. And I'd keep an eye on the head and base gaskets.

Here's to hoping it's just fine though.
