I've only done three mods for performance, Racing cans, Y-pipe with no cat, and BMC racing filter.

What are the top 5 mods I should do next in order?

1 .Dynojet PCIII Module
2. Dynojet Ignition Module ?
3. Rearset ?
4. Chain and gears ?
5. ??

Suspension!!!!, tires, gearing, brakes, rearsets.

All the power doesn't mean any thing if the suspension isn't right.

So the next top three mods need to be tires, suspension, and gears.

What tires do you like and why?
What suspension mods and why?
What gears, and what set up and why?

Ouch that hurts, Yes I’m just bought my R1 3 weeks ago and I have been riding every day. I have been riding HareScramble in AA for 5 years and I’m not bad on a Yamaha YZ250. I know street is different.

But when it comes to cars I’ll put my car against yours any day of the week and my driving skills. I run 10.42 in the ¼ mile with 295 Nitto 555R street tires in the back. I’m on the corvette forum under the name extremecorvette

I have no friends in town that ride and I’m just hooked on it. I just need some help from more experience rides to point me in the right direction. I’m always willing to learn on my own but it never hurts to ask.

Hmmmmz where to start...

The first mod should be Frame Sliders, Then SS Brakelines which nobody even said anything about or I missed it. Then comes a DB windscreen IF you like them and to help with the wind protection especially if you plan any long distance riding or high speed runs.

Unless you plan on trackdays which I might of missed that also you can save ALOT of money by not buying alot of the things posted...LOL

I would just setup and play with the stock suspension until you get better and do alot of trackdays THEN I would buy a new suspenion, but until then save your money.

Performance? Depends on how much power you really want? I personally just do the slipons, filter, velocity stacks and PCIII WITH dyno tune, not a canned program. I hate people who spend the money but skimp on the tuning..

Tires? Burn the stock ones and then try out some different ones until you find the kind ya like best. I personally hate Dunlop and like Metzler, Pirelli or even Bridgestone.

Rearsets? Why? unless you are doing trackdays you don't need them.
Quickshifter? Why? unless you are doing 1/4 mile passes you don't need it.

I think that's all for now :D

I haven't had the 209's on the street yet but I was told that they don't like the rain at all. What have you seen that makes you not like them on the street?
