In my cars I use mobil 1, my R6 had yamalube, but I think I'll go Mobil 1 in the R1. It's just the best there is in my opinion.

For trackdays: Silkolene Pro-Plus 4T 5w-30 (available at Ronayers.com - forum sponsor) my only complaint was that it felt that this oil seemed to break down fairly fast for the price you pay. I did not take any samples, I'm just going by mechanical feel in terms of how the bike feels just after oil change to 3k miles.

For Street: I use Mobil1 MX-4T. 10w-40. A really good autoparts store or on-line.

where do you all pick this stuff up at???? Any auto store or motorcycle shop?????Or do you get it offline....the mobil 1 is what I would go with I put it in all my cars (all 1 of them), do you pick that up from autozone, napa, or an autoparts store????

mobil-1-MX4T 10-40, great oil never a problem !!! i get mine at auto zone $8.00 a quart

 

You can find Mobil 1 MX-4T at Walmart as well, but it's not a significant price difference than say Autozone. I'd just pick whichever store is closest to you.

Mobil 1 it is......I read through the moto magazine comparison a while back, and I'm sticking with mobil 1. Good write up by the way..
